About Us

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons specialise in the treatment of the mouth, jaws, face and neck.

It is unique in that is considered both a dental and medical speciality, and current training requires surgeons to complete both dental and medical degrees prior to surgical training.  This specialist pathway takes 15 years to complete, something to remember when contemplating who will look after you.

The surgeons at West Perth OMS have undertaken additional fellowship training following completion of their specialist training, making them some of the best trained surgeons in Western Australia.
