Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr Ricciardo completed training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013.  He subsequently attended post-graduate fellowships in Paediatric Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne), Orthognathic and Trauma Surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Temporomandibular Joint Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital (Melbourne), and Head and Neck Surgery at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (Glasgow).

Upon return to Western Australia,Dr Ricciardo accepted appointments at Royal Perth Hospital and the Perth Children’s Hospital, and commenced private practice at West Perth Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr Ricciardo is a member of the Australian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS), Australian Medical Association (AMA), Australian Dental Association (ADA), Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), AO and ITI.

Dr Ricciardo is a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons instructor, AO instructor faculty, and SORG co-worker. In addition to the above professional affiliations Dr Ricciardo is a member of the Western Australian Regional Surgical Committee for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has a particular interest in the training, scope and future direction of the specialty.
